Madrid to Lisbon was only a two hour flight. The hotel in Lisbon was right off the busy Rossio Square. I had a typical European morning with a croissant and a cappuccino. Dad and I went to a little cafe (Casa das Bifanas) not too far from our hotel.

The weather was fantastic for exploring beautiful Lisbon. There is a very relaxed atmosphere here. This is the Torre de Belém:
We were able to take a food and wine tour, which was a lot of fun. We went to A Tendinha do Rossio with the tour. Their codfish cakes with vinho verde will be unforgettable:
