Palais Zahia, where we’re staying is gorgeous and hospitable. The moment you come in, you are greeted with traditional mint tea. Here is a view inside of the hotel.
There is an observation deck/terrace at the top level of the hotel. Here are a couple of views of that terrace and a pic from the terrace:
Below is the famous promenade:

Ending Seville and More Adventures
I have been blessed to see some gorgeous sites. This was the view coming back to the hotel from the flamenco show.
I had breakfast with my dad at the authentic Spanish restaurant below this morning.
The Plaza De España below is breathtakingly gorgeous.
My view coming into Tarifa to board the ferry to Tangiers
This is exactly like one of the ferries that people use from the Spanish mainland into Morocco.
Here is my first view of Morocco.
Alcázar in Seville
The Alcázar was built in 1364-1366 by King Pedro I of Castile. It is a World Heritage site and adjoined to the Seville Cathedral.
Bwlow is one of the courtyards.
One of the altar pieces is a painting by Alejo Fernandez entitled “The Virgin of the Navigators” where Mary is depicted watching over those who have sailed in faith.

Seville and Cathedral de Seville
The Doors of St. Christopher are the closest to where people enter the Cathedral of Seville.
Below is the very imposing, outside facade of the Cathedral de Seville.
I climbed the Giralda Tower at the Cathedral. The tower was originally built as a minaret for the Great Mosque of Seville in the 1100s. Here is the view.
Below are two views of the tomb of Christopher Columbus located in the Cathedral.

Sintra
Much like Toledo is to Madrid, Sintra is not far from Lisbon at all. It was a tough decision to either explore Lisbon more or travel to Sintra, which is what we decided to do. A little rain did not stop us. This is the facade of the Quinta de Regaleira built between 1904 and 1910.
Although rainy weather, the coastal area like below was nice
Below is the Pena Palace.
I want to go back and be able to view the city of Sintra and the Pena Palace again in better weather.
Lisbon
Madrid to Lisbon was only a two hour flight. The hotel in Lisbon was right off the busy Rossio Square. I had a typical European morning with a croissant and a cappuccino. Dad and I went to a little cafe (Casa das Bifanas) not too far from our hotel.
Our hotel was just off Rossio Square. Here is a view of Rossio Square:
This view is looking down the Avenida de Liberdade:
The weather was fantastic for exploring beautiful Lisbon. There is a very relaxed atmosphere here. This is the Torre de Belém:
Early morning Madrid and majestic Toledo
Dad and I took a train just like the one below from Madrid to Toledo, which is about 40 minutes out of the city:
What started out as a dreary day ended up clearing, so the following ended up being our views from the day:
